Monterey ave,
San anselmo
This 1,078 sqft 1950’s bungalow needed a kitchen and bathroom refresh on a limited budget. Working with Bethany Fay Design we decided to open up the wall between the kitchen and dining room so that the house felt larger and less compartmentalized. In the kitchen, we wanted to keep the open feeling and left the walls open with custom oak floating shelves and light white and grey tones. For the bathroom, we went out on a limb with a contrasting black and white tile theme while staying consistent with the rest of the house’s gold/brass fixture finishes.
Monterey ended up being a delight — a chic and cozy Marin get away that surpassed our expectations.
